Baloch Human Rights Organization (BHRO) Commemorates International Human Rights Day

On the eve of International Human Rights Day, Baloch Human Rights Organization (BHRO) have organized a seminar at the Quetta press club to highlight the human rights violations in Baluchistan by states forces.

This Day is being commemorated internationally on the 10^th of December worldwide to enlighten human rights and forcefulness of tyranny towards the highly depressed nation facing the brutality butcheries from different sorts of state.

Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) recently accomplished a 756km historical march on foot from Quetta to Karachi to take the attention of international human rights organizations towards the ferocities from security forces of Pakistan in Baluchistan with Baloch people where it has openly requested to that humanitarian organizations to come and judge the circumstances in which Baloch are being deliberately victimized on the daily bases of life.

BHRO is also highly and peacefully endeavoring for the safe release of Baloch missing person who had gone missing since the regime of Pakistan’s former president dictator General Pervez Musharraf. After all with the dismal of Musharraf’s regime the atrocities from the state machineries couldn’t reduce but in real has gotten intensifications during the ascendancies of PPP’s and PML-N respectively. Seeing all the counterfeit clams of provincial and federal leaders including Dr. Malik’s left the families of disappeared persons more bewildered as with no safe release any of the abducted Baloch.

The program was initiated with the recitation of the name of almighty who is the sustainer of entire universe. Later on the honorable guests were called for their seats on the stage and the program was being attended by many journalists, teachers and the students.

Firstly, Faiz Hashami a member of HRCP was called for the deliverance of his speech on the rights of human.

This day has much significance for human and humanity is on the same day the law that preserves the privileges of human has proposed, HRCP member said.

Government of the people, by the people, for the people, is a very common quotation often rehashed by the politicians here but in reality nothing seems well-designed.  He further said, in a well-developed demarcated country there is a functional institutional system that run the legislation but unfortunately here in Pakistan there is not any proper court system to handle all these sort of happenings which are clearly against the international law that demands for the protection of human rights. HRCP condemns all the atrocities happening against the Baloch and other community as well and will ever raise the voice calling for the rights of inhabitants of a specific area.

On the behalf of this day, it is worth mentioning to put some words regarding the violations of human. Anywhere in the world the basic fundamentals of human rights being dishonored in the most dwindling regions including Baluchistan as well which is of its worst form.

The security forces in Baluchistan, are busy at a pre-planned policy of humiliating the Baloch race which is being vociferously seen by any one so that it comes in our responsibility to raise a voice that be demanding of eradication of extrajudicial killings of Baloch and their abduction as well.

Stats emerged following the constitutional restrictions and the basic laws that are undoubtedly needed for a state to its administration rules pursuance but when law become something contrary to the justice then a resisting movement in the form of Mama Qadeer’s  gallantry attempt who along with other members of VBMP initiated a historical long march come to being. The grueling march of 756km was not ease thing but has been devotedly subjugated by the walkers in which our sister Farzana Majeed and naïve brother Haider Ali with their bolstered feet let a worth mentioning question mark on the paper-made pledges  of the concerned authorities, Dr. Babar Ali said.

Later on, political intellectual Sardar Haji Mohammad Ameen was called for his speech in which he said in Baluchistan with Baloch people state elements playing a great game which has already betrayed our revered leader Noroz Khan during 70’s and later on, they assassinated Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, Ghulam Mohammad, Sher Mohammad and Lala Munir. Such deception from state services has deteriorated the situation so a great insurgency has been initiated on the ground of Baloch which seems not controllable anymore. Governmental authorities at all not wanting the Baloch nation are improving at the norms of development.

It is mourn able that our brothers are missing and their brutally tortured dump bodies are being recovered on the barren land in such circumstances how can Baloch be agreeing with state’s policies, our Baloch brothers had moved to mountains just owing to the brutal behaviors of tyranny. VBMP’s exhausted long march when initiated the CM of Baluchistan has proclaimed for very tall claims which are not in the hands of them whether in reality it’s not in the limits of CM.

Further he said chief justice was his self a prisoner how he can resolve the appalling problem of Baloch missing persons which is accompanying by savage dump and kill policies. Chief justice was enquiring the Baloch missing case in the Supreme Court but there appeared some Pashto who were brought before the court which is something playing with the feelings of those all missing persons relatives who are waiting for the safe release of disappeared.

After this a member of HRCP, Shams Ullaq was called for a speech. I belong to this commission which attempts to raise a voice for human rights and always trying to take the prompt attention of international organizations to take notice on the fierceness being committed and as well highlighting the sectarian conflicts that are the basic bottlenecks in an appropriate way of systemizing and creating discrimination among all sects abiding over here. This is an uprising where people’s mutilated bullet riddled bodies are being recovered and the brutalities have reached into its high peak. He as well briefly described the pivotal role of his organization struggling for the protection of humanity.

HRCP and individually I myself getting threat why I am raising the voice of most depressed ones but my vision  which is to serve the whole humanity will never varnish, said the HRCP member.

Scholar, intellectual and professor Liaqat Sani, in his speech declared if the unrestrained policies of state remained unchanged and prolong it undoubtedly are creating some great hurdles in front of Pakistani authority. Media role in highlighting the realities and secrets got failed which is something perilous. Media must not be hiding its real face to give coverage to the Baloch issue which is not only getting fame nationally but internationally as well. Currently there has been a grueling long march conducted by VBMP but media role was equal to nothing. Here in Baluchistan the human rights are being violating in a great extent but the state services are giving it a deaf hear which is one of the most brutalities. Malala’s vision was realistically not that much fetching is giving such a sort of concerns our sisters and brother’s vision is vociferously clear but not being telecasted when they launch a press conference to demand for their beloved ones safe release.

Finally, Chairperson of BHRO BiBi Gul, in her speech on the eve of international day for human rights said today we are here to commemorate the international day for the human rights and their violation under the shadow of BHRO to enlighten the international law that has been imposed decades before in UNO security general assembly. Following those laws we condemn all that atrocities and violation that are against international law which demands for the protection and preservation of the fundamentals of everyone at every corner of the world but in some countries like Pakistan the human rights violation has crossed its limits to humiliate the international law in its fake constitution as well which contrary to the policies of abduction and dumped and kill. On daily bases Baloch are being disappear abducted and beheaded inhumanly, international bill of human rights which was proposed in the security general of UNO to diminish all those sorts of violation and misguidance that may allow any area in fires.

On 10 December the bill which was proposed utterly indicates the human rights and their protection. As the articles included in the bill article 5, article 8, article 9 and 10 respectively based on human rights where no individual can be mistreated without any guilt and without any proclamation from court or any judicial institute. If anyone is guilty he/she to be brought before the court for the final hearing of judges whether he/she is alleged for specific sort of crime.

The ferocious policy of establishment that was initiated during the regime of Musharraf has getting intensification day by day in which Baloch has received more than hundreds of dead bodies, thousands of Baloch are still missing and being treated brutally under the custodies of Pakistani security forces.

Asian Human Rights Commission and UN commission for human rights had always mentioned the protection of human rights in the entire world but in real it is being violated in some countries in return with no any prompt response from that above mentioned authorities. Here on the behalf of BHRO we appeal to the international organization specially Human Rights Watch, International Amnesty and other humanitarian organizations to take prompt actions on that in order to let Baloch nation enjoy their fundamental rights.

Baloch Human Rights Organization (BHRO) Activists Hold a Protest Against Killing Of BSO Leader Raza Jahangir and BNM activist Imdad Baloch By Security Forces In Absar Area Of Turbat.

The Baloch Human Rights Organisation held a protest demonstration outside Karachi Press Club on Wednesday against the brutal murder of BSO-Azad Secretary General Raza Jahangir Baloch and BNM leader Imdad Baloch in Turbat town of Balochistan.

Large number of Baloch women and children joined the protest to express their anger against security forces for its continuous atrocities across Balochistan. The protesters were carrying placard inscribed with different slogans and pictures of the slain Baloch leaders. They chanted slogans against what they call state terrorism in Balochistan. 

Addressing the demonstration the BHRO leaders said that security forces have intensified human rights violations in Balochistan since the new government came in power, adding that, “The Security forces are expanding its terrorism across Balochistan by extra-judicially killing and abducting Baloch student and political activists and leaders.”

The BHRO leader said on the early morning of 14 August Pakistan army and FC attack the house of a Baloch political leader and opened indiscriminate firing and bombing on the houses killing Imdad Baloch, the house owner, and Baloch Students Organization Secretary General Raza Janahngir Baloch. Imdad Baloch’s aged father has been seriously injured in the attack and he has later been taken away along with another person by Pakistani army.

The leaders of BHRO further said that on 13 August Baloch people had organised a rally to record their protest against human rights violation on the arrival of UN Secretary General Mr Ban Ki-moon to Pakistan. Security forces attacked the peaceful rally and tried to abducted activists including women and children. Many women and children were injured due to indiscriminate batten charge by security forces.

“Security forces are continuing their atrocities in Balochistan unabated and now they have even started to kill people in the name of fake encounters to mislead the world,” BHRO leaders said.

The BHRO urged the UN secretary General Mr Ban Ki-moon to take notice of the killing and abduction of Baloch activists by security forces. They said it was shocking that Mr Ban Ki-moon was giving importance to secondary issues and ignoring the human rights violation by security forces.

“The UN seems completely unmoved by the grave atrocities and violations of human rights in Balochistan. We urge Mr Ban Ki-moon to stop ignoring the unfolding human tragedy in Balochistan and take notice of the brutal extra-judicial murder of BSO Azad Secretary General Raza Jahangir and BMN activis Imdad Baloch,” Said the BHRO.

Many Balochs are still being tortured in the security forces’s torture cells for several years, BHRO.

   BHRO conducted a demonstration on the International Torture day in front of Karachi press club against the state violence, abduction and extrajudicial killings of innocent Baloch in Balochistan. The demonstrators were having banners and play cards on which slogans, against state’s violence, abduction, extrajudicial killings of innocent Baloch and international convention which is not taking notice against the violence in Balochistan, were written.

The activists of BHRO addressed the demonstrators and said that today, means, on 26^th of June, the whole world celebrates this day against the violence and promises to eliminate violence from all international societies and every kind of violence is considered a crime against humanity but the Balochs are still being tortured in the security forces’s torture cells for several years. The innocent balochs are being tortured by electric shocks, hung for weeks, beaten severely, laid on ice during winter season, made them stood on barefooted outside during the hottest season, hands and feet were tied with chains, faces were covered with masks continuously, mice were let in their clothes, awakened them whole night and it is their routine to torture them psychologically in several ways. Due to this kind of severe torture, many innocent balochs have lost their lives and their decomposed bodies have been thrown in forests and far flung areas; many of them had been the food of wild animals if not then they had been in severe condition to be recognized. After inhuman treatment with the innocent balochs if some one is released then negative effects soon come out.

The activists addressed and said that till today 14000 innocent balochs have been abducted and are kept in different torture cells of the State and more than 500 balochs have been killed extra judicially by the intelligence agencies of Pakistan. The teachers, doctors, engineers, students and et al have been abducted by the military forces in the daylight. After this, the common citizens of Balochistan are unprotected because the forces can conduct raid any time in anybody’s home and disrespects and treats severally   the children, women and the grand and without any legal reason, the innocent balochs are abducted and pushed behind bars. The forces have made their own rules and regulations in Balochistan that is why they do not care about the international laws of human rights. Therefore, a few days ago the forces fired, and martyred 8 innocent balochs named as Shahan, Dost Mohd, Taro, Najli,Tokali and yousuf and 20 of them seriously got injured and they are in a critical condition, in the area of Sunari Mat and Dranj Naala, Dera Bugti Sui where the people were offering fateha for their departed ones.

The activists addressed and said that we appeal to the responsible institutions of human rights on the occasion of  International Torture Day to take notice against abductions and throwing decomposed dead bodies of innocent balochs and should force the security forces to stop such inhuman acts and should take actions for the purpose of eliminating the torture cells in Pakistan and all the missing persons should be released. Because the security forces are violating the international laws and are abducting the baloch students, political workers and innocent balochs and they are pushed in torture cells for years without any legal reason. Even though they are not presented before any courts this is absolutely against the human rights and constitution of state. The international human rights organization should play their vital role for the elimination of torture and restoration of fundamental rights of  balochs. 

BHRO released a quarterly report on Human rights and state terrorism in balochistan

Baloch Human Rights organization released a quarterly report on State terrorism and Human rights violation in Balochistan. The report comprises the events from January to April 2013 and listed names of those Balochs who were enforcely abducted and those who were extrajudicial killed.

In a released statement by BHRO it was said that the events of Human rights violation and state terrorism in Balochistan by the end of 1st quarter of 2013 shows a alarming condition in allover Balochistan . Human rights violation, state terrorism which includes mostly killings, orations, enforced abductions, mutilated bodies increased through the period.

From January to April  2013 following statistics are reported.
244 Baloch were enforcely abducted.
60 balochs were extrajudicial killed.

Among the killed Balochs 26 were killed in orations and 34 were killed after enforce abduction. During 4 month period 11 Baloch were released and 199 among abducted Balochs during the specified period were missing till the end of April 2013.

Baloch Human Rights Organization protest demo against ongoing forces operation in different Areas of Balochistan, enforce disappearance, extra judiciary killing and human right violation outside Karachi press club.

Baloch Human Rights Organization protested today against ongoing military operation in gomazi, malant,koshkalat,malikabad nezarabad of Makran region and different Areas of Balochistan  and enforce disappearance, extra judiciary killing and human right violation outside Karachi press club. They were having place cards and banners in their hands with different slogans against state terrorism, human rights violation and against silence of world community and so called human rights activists.Talking to the protesters speaker said forces are getting fast in their -tyranny on 24^th  May forces operated Gomazai and Nezar Abad killed one person and burnt the houses as like  yesterday forces prolonged their operation to koshkalat Malikabad Nazarabad and Rodbun.

On 25^th May forces attacked on civil population of  koshkalat Extra Judicially  killed two Balochs  70 years old Ghulam Mustufa and Allah Baksh they burnt  the houses looted cash and expansive material after  using highly flammable chemicals which destroyed the houses into ashes utterly and kidnapped  Master DurMohd with his sons. Later forces   continued their operation in  Nearby town Malikabad ceiled the all areas for  any kind of traffic and rushed to the house  burnt them after using chemicals. On 26th May early Morning forces prolonged their operation in Nezarabad and Rodbun and others area of Tump. Today early morning forces burnt several houses into ashes including Abducted Asim faqeer’s house who was enforcedly abducted by forces in month of February. There forces tried to kidnap Ali Jan Qomi’s sons in Nazarabad residents made it unsuccessful.Forces operation is still continuous  by time in  different areas  may  this operation prolong to the other areas of Mekuran and get worsen.

During forces operation burning and looting houses, abduction and Extra Judiciary killing of Balochs is a routine in Balochistan . Forces using highly flammable toxic chemicals in different areas damages can get extra larger amount. People having no shelter and on open sky compiled to pass their days and nights in the affected areas in these sunny days.

Human rights violations  has gotten   worst in Balochistan United Nation Silence made them  worsen .In this critical and worst  Situation we appeal to the United Nation to interfere in Balochistan to protect the human right abuses by taking some good steps.
